Is it alright to shave your genitals?
One of my straight friends shaves his penis area and says that he prefers it to be that way. Is there a certain reason he likes it that way and is it normal?
Everyone has their own ideas about what is normal. You might believe a man should not shave his genitals. You may also think it strange if a straight man was to massage his own prostate. But they are both "normal" in the sense that lots of straight men do them.
If you don't want to shave your genitals, don't shave your genitals. If you don't like that your male friend shaves his genitals or insists that you shave your genitals, find another male friend. Or both of you learn to accept that other people are not precisely the same as you are.
If there is a reason he likes to shave, he is the best person to ask.
